We honestly figured someone else might get there before we did, but no – the fabulous Cabulous team got a full iPad/iPhone iOS4 app up first.
Now Cabulous runs in the background, letting drivers stay on the map even when they are on the phone or checking email. Yay!! Hurray!
The addition of free Cabulous dispatch tools, the new Nokia 5230 offer for taxi drivers, and the new iPhone update enabling Cabulous to run in the background all contributed to this picture.
Here’s a quick shot of Tal, Elijah and John, three of the Cabulous Team at MacWorld.
Tal made a big splash with media when her scrappy home-made foam-core taxi wheelchair hit the floor at MacWorld. Cost of materials: $20. Cost of wheelchair rental: $60. Impact on the show: priceless.
We hope to see you at MacWorld this week! We’ll be at Booth #1366 – the iPhone Developer Area. And keep our eyes peeled for the taxis running around sporting Cabulous logos! They will be hovering around Moscone Thursday through Saturday to pick up passengers at MacWorld – and will be giving those passengers a few bucks off their fare if they download Cabulous!
